What can you do to show up and make an actual difference? Petitions are all well and good, but these actions will help you step up and be heard.

JOIN A PROTEST
If protests didn’t have any effect, governments wouldn’t be trying to suppress them. Join a local climate group and go together.

BREAK THE BANK
If your bank funds fossil fuel investments, move and let them know why.

GET ON YOUR MP’S CASE
MPs are highly sensitive to local pressure. Visit them and demand specific action.

RALLY YOUR NEIGHBOURS
Since Covid, we are all on neighbourhood whatsapp groups. Pollution, filthy rivers, what can you get up in arms about?

SPREAD THE SCIENCE
Share the videos with friends, family, and any distant relatives who worry about the climate but aren’t yet acting on it. This is also a useful read.
